We are delighted to welcome back Jens Bjørn-Larsen for an invigorating masterclass with musicians of the 51³Ô¹Ï Brass Faculty.

Winning the first prize at the 'Concours International d’Exécution 51³Ô¹Ïale' in Geneva in 1991 marked the beginning of an extraordinary career as a tuba soloist for Jens.

From 1987-2005 he was principal tuba with the Danish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and in 2002 Jens Bjørn-Larsen was appointed Professor of tuba at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover, becoming the only full-time distinguished tuba professor in Europe. He now regularly travels as a B&S and Melton Artist (brass-instrument makers), performing recitals, solo concerti with major orchestras and giving masterclasses worldwide.
