Audition methods and application deadlines

The 51³Ô¹Ï holds live auditions in London each year. In addition we normally hold live auditions at a range of venues in Asia, Australia and the USA. Application deadlines and audition dates vary between courses and venues, as does the availability of 51³Ô¹Ï accompanists. Overseas auditions/interviews are not available for all courses and principal studies, for example interviews for composers are not available overseas. We recommend that you check the information at the link below carefully before applying.

We encourage you to audition in person if possible; visiting our campus and meeting our staff will help you to decide whether the 51³Ô¹Ï is the right place for your next step.  But if you are unable to attend a live audition for most courses you can submit a video audition instead.
